Using bellows is a very important skill in playing an accordion. The skill level of using bellows not only directly effects musical performance but also represents the performer抯 performing skill. In this paper, four methods of using bellows in playing an accordion are studied in detail. These methods include performing bellows smoothly and steadily, designing performance of bellows, shaking bellows, and vibrating bellows.Performing bellows smoothly and steadily is a basic skill of using bellows. The key demand is to keep the press to the bellows stable when pull the bellows off and push the bellows back smoothly and steadily. Performing bellows smoothly and steadily is used widely in playing classical composition, adagio composition, and polka.Designing performance of bellows is the most important task of using bellows in playing an accordion. The compositions used in the process from elementary train of designing performance of bellows to comprehensive train include symmetry composition, simple nonsymmetry composition, complex non-symmetry composition, hidden bicinium, and tricinium etc.Shaking bellows is a performing skill for obtaining special sound effect by changing moving direction of bellows rapidly. The methods of/-Shaking bellows include two-shaking, three shaking, four shaking, and five shaking.Vibrating bellows is a performing skill for obtaining special sound effect by making bellows vibrating evenly through outer force. There are three methods to vibrate bellows. The first method is that, the task of vibrating bellows is accomplished by a single hand when another hand is pressing the keys. The second method is that, the task of vibrating bellows is accomplished by a single hand when two hands are pressing the keys. The third method is that he task of vibrating bellows is accomplished by left leg when we are seated. As a conclusion, using bellows and designing performance of bellows are served to music perform. Because performer抯 comprehension of composition is the bridge connecting composer and audiences, we should comprehend the background, scene, and content of composition completely and control the bellows with our hearts. |
