The works of Austin and Zhang ailing are the important existence in woman fiction which can not be ignored .They all embody distinct consciousness of woman sexuality. Proceeding from analyzing the characteristic of woman sexuality of their works, this thesis infers that one shows positive obedience while the other is passive submission from their own personalbackground .social environment .and the trend of their own times ,and deduces their different artistic quality from those above: Austin is pleasant ,yet Zhang ailing is sorrowful.
