Marx Free Personalized Thought

The ultimate goal of Marxism is to achieve human emancipation and the all-round and free development of human beings, while the realization of free individuality is the internal requirement and precondition of the goal. Marx divided human development into three phrases: Personal Dependence, Objective Dependence and the All-round Development of Human Beings. Of them, the realization of free individuality is the highest level of human development. This shows the important position and function of Marx's"Free Individuality"thought in the whole ideological system. But in the traditional textbooks, Marx's"Free Inidividuality"thought had not been attached to enough importance for a long time. With the continuous deepening of Marxism study and the attention to individal since Reform and Opening, the call of individuality demands of us careful and thorough study of Marx's"Free Individuality"thought. We should lead Marxism study to a deeper level, and this has important directive significance to the correct cognition of self-worth and the rational persuit of individual freedom at the present times.This article is made up of five chapters:The first chapter analyses and defines Individuality, Free Individuality and Individual Freedom in the abstract so as to avoid confusion and ambiguity of these concepts.The second chapter retrospects the direct theory source of Marx's"Free Individuality"thought, that is, Hegel's Doctrine of Free Will, Feuerbach's Humanism and Stirner's Individuality. Marx critically inherited and developed their thoughts of individual freedom to create his unique"Free Individuality"thought.The third chapter describes the development stage of Marx's"Free Individuality"thought in detail. The process can be divided into three periods: infancy, formation and maturity.The fourth chapter analyses the main contents of Marx's"Free Individuality"thought."Free Individuality"thought begins with the actual individual. It bases on practice and realizes in the associations. The all-round and free development of human and the realization of free individuality are dialectically united. The former is the internal requirement of the latter.The last chapter discusses the contemporary significance of Marx's"Free Individuality"thought. This thought breaks through Marxism traditional framwork of interpretation.It surpasses the western traditional individuality theory and the western liberalism. And it would provide practical directive function for this generation to realize individual freedom.
