The Records of Confucius Sanchao is a work of inquiry and reply between Confucius and Lu Ai gong.It contains seven articles, which is included in Records of Han Dynasty's Books List, and recorded in Bie Lu of Liu xiang and qi lue of Liu Qin too. This work once independently spread, latter is included in Records of Da Dai Rites. But its single edition were not immediately lost, instead spreading with Records of Da Dai Rites for a long time, this work probability vanished after Sui and Tang dynasty.Although the composition of Records of Confucius Sanchao is very early, but scholars didn't pay attention to it, the reason is that Records of Da Dai Rites and Book of Rites which almost the same age appeared in the differentiation status. Book of Rites attracted people's attention after it was noted by Zheng xuan who was master of Confucian classics. Thus it gradually get rid of auxiliary status, and became one of the confucian classics. At the same time, the past of Book of Rites deleting Records of Da Dai Rites was in vogue from Jin dynasty, so the status of Records of Da Dai Rites Further reduced. Textology was thriving in Qing dynasty, scholars thought this calmly and research it detailedly, they pointed out that Book of Rites deleting Records of Da Dai Rites cannot be established. Thus Records of Da Dai Rites attracted people's attention again, scholars and monographs that researched it became more and more.WangYingLin of song dynasty affirmed that qian sheng sidai yudaide gaozhi xiaobian yongbing shaoxian in Records of Da Dai Rites was Records of Confucius Sanchao which had lost. Wang Yinglin ang Kong Guangsen of Qing dynasty ang Zhang Taiyan and Huang huai xin of modern times also agreed with Wang Yinglin's conclusion. In addition, there are parlance of one article and five articles. Yan shigu thought one article of Records of Da Dai Rites belonged to Records of Confucius Sanchao,and Zhang Xuecheng agreed with this statement, but Wang Chang thought there was five articles in Records of Da Dai Rites.I think parlance of one article and five articles has not enough evidences, parlance of seven articles is right.What is the mean about Records of Confucius Sanchao actually, Academics still have not reach a consensus, this question also is my paper firstly need to solve. The composition and spread of this book is a very complex problem, writing problems mainly refers to the author and the time of its composition. The some contents of this book were inclueded in zuozhuan and xunzi etc. In addition, shanghai bamboo silk slips also have several words in mutual with this book, the time of their composition was very similar. The book recorded a lot of statements and campaign actions of Confucius, reflecting Confucius's benevolence rule of political thought of violence and residual check of military thought. This book is the important work that studying Confucius and the original Confucianism.
