With the development of the research in decision-making, it's have been realized that the importance of emotions in decision-making research. It's no doubt that emotions can influence people to make decisions; in turn the result of decisions can affect the emotions that people experienced. Respectively, Researchers explain the different theories through three formation ways, that is anticipated emotions, emotion experienced at the time of decision-making (process emotion), and post-decision emotion. With further research, researchers have been gradually making pay attention to individual differences variables. This research mainly focused on exploring the role of emotional and individual differences in decision-making study through three sub-experiments.First experiment, this study was designed to investigate the effects of trait emotion intelligence on decision making in laboratory conditions that involved the controlled induction of two emotions: happy and sad by watching the movies. The results showed that high trait emotional intelligence participants are more likely to decrease negative emotions following exposure to happy stimuli and more likely to reduce positive emotions following exposure to sad stimuli; middle-level trait El individuals decision-making more susceptible to the risk of emotional impact in favor of a pleasant adventure. This shows the trait El can affect decision-making the under happy emotional state. This experiment was designed to extend the first experiment and replicate the effects of trait El on decision making in conditions that involved naturally occurring emotions. All the participants had the final exam several days before the experiment, and on that occasion they had been asked to provide self-evaluations of their performance and to assess the importance they placed on that exam. The study found that, middle trait EI participants showed greater risk propensity than their low and high trait El peers following exposure to positive stimuli. Low participants are most unsusceptible to positive emotions to influence. The third experiment discussed the frames and trait El on decision-making including the emotion inducted by frame tasks and different frame variables. The results dedicated that, negative emotion were increased under the two frames, the change of negative emotions increased more in loss frame than in gain frame; different trait El participants all showed positive emotional deterioration particular high trait El participants showed greater deterioration. The main effect of frames on risk decision-making is significant, but the main effects of trait El is not significant.Through these three sub-experiments, there has been a preliminary conclusion about the impacts of emotions and trait El on risk decision-making:participants the higher the level of trait emotion intelligence, the larger mood changes, and feeling more sensitive to the trend; middle trait El participants are more vulnerable to emotional impacts on decision-making; participants of different trait El the more susceptible to emotional impact of making decisions in obvious and direct pleasure, positive emotions evoked. There are not individual differences in the frame task decision-making. This research introduced the concept of individual differences variable-trait El into risk decision-making field, which enrich the past research, and dedicate the role of trait El in risk decision-making under emotional state.
