William Blake Painting Art Research

At the turn of the 18th and 19th century,the Romanticism emerged in UK.This very ideological trend first appeared in literature circles,and then affected the arts. During this period,literature and art integrated increasingly tightly.Many artists turned out to be both poets and painters.Among them,William Blake was one of the most representative one.Blake was a diversified artist,known as a poet,painter,and print maker.This article will try to obtain a more comprehensive and in-depth study of William Blake's core narrative themes of painting via conducting an "intertextual analysis"on his works,and to understand the whole British romantic art via understanding William blake's.
