Meticulous Creation A Freehand Context Created

Throughout history, the "symbolism" is deemed to the essence and the connotation of Chinese painting. The traditional Chinese culture is broad and profound. The artists of various times do not only draws from nature, but also perform their own unique feeling in their productions. "Symbolism" in Chinese traditional aesthetics includes specific things and contains abstract meaning. The traditional Chinese artists create their strong subjective symbolism through the "observation" and "perception", and combined with their own aesthetic tastes, thinking and the method of creation to achieve the true sense of "freehand spirit". This artistic conception from "freehand" is precipitated in both Chinese freehand painting and Chinese realistic painting.In art, "artistic conception" can be achieved by two ways:the formative language (technique) and emotional expression (aesthetics). Formative language includes coloring, lines, texture, brush strokes, tactile impression, light sensation, space, composition and many other factors. The artists have to use them neatly to show their moods and feeling about the people and objects. When these factors are combined together organically, the painting will show the charm of formative language, convey the artist inner feelings, and create impressive artistic conception.About the contemporary fine drawings' research, already had too many painters to state views, in the contemporary multicultural, artist's culture value orientation, esthetic ideal also no longer has the sole standard. Many painters are also expressing their appeal through the different method.Based on the above thinking, I explored the meticulous figure paintings. I expound my thought and exploration about the freehand context of Chinese realistic painting by carding the traditional Chinese realistic paintings, western works of art and the track of the contemporary artists' practice, in order to expand the road of Chinese realistic paintings creation. This thesis makes an attempt about the artistic production after analyzed the ancient and modern works of art in the context of creating freehand by using analytical, comparative and experimental methods.This thesis is divided into five parts:1. The evolution of painting materials and the impact of the using of Chinese painting.2. The origin of the freehand context of Chinese realistic painting.3 The inspire of freehand context of Modern realistic painting.4. The author's foothold in the freehand context of realistic painting.5. How does the author build the freehand contexts of characters, colors, tactile impressions and forms.
