Buildings In Cities Of Color In Painting The Broad Expression

The master dissertation takes the coloring of urban buildings of artworks as described clues, which have been expressed in different periods and different kinds of artistic style. It is analyzed from classicism paintings with representatives of Antonio Canaletto and Luca Calevaris, to impressionism paintings with representatives of Alfred Sisley and Claude Monet, and further to modern time paintings with representatives of Maurice Utrillo, Robert Delaunay, Giorgio De Chirico and Steve Mills. A conclusion is drawn that depicting of urban buildings'color in painting works is developing from objective colors to subjective colors. Coloring control by artists is getting more and more flexible, and passive imitation is getting more and more reductive. With increasing subjective elements, initiative is playing an more and more important role. Furthermore, in the master dissertation, it attempts to seek painting creation of silk screen printing in order to depict and express urban buildings color, by means of analyzing outstanding artworks of modern silk screen printing artists and combining with illumination from other artistic ways. The innovative works also provide referenced effect for exploring the important role of colors in painting field.
