With the fast commercial development of our country the degree of modernization of commercial environment construction get higher and higher which has changed the face of cities and has left many new problems. At present there are so many high buildings in the big cities, with a lot of markets, floods, stores, commodities, advertisements, and persons, that people lose the happiness and passion in shopping. While the city gets huger, more sealed, and modernized, people begin to realize that they are distant from the natural environment, human and cultural landscape further and further. However, the so-called "humanity" can't resolve the problem intrinsically which simply plus the natural landscape to the commercial environment. The construction of commercial environment is not only for the commercial profits, but also for the other social factors, so that we can get the two-win or three-win.On the whole, the article researches this task. The paper regards the study of people's psychological demands as the main line, particularly combines the research of that in landscape of public space, and analyses intrinsically the factors why people will stop. The result is to find out a good way of making landscape in commercial environment.The commercial space should be programmed and designed as "landscape", and developed as "culture". Actually, the "making landscape" doesn't mean the simple design of water views, a forestation, seats, as well as indicators. Besides, it also won't lead the natural scenery into indoor room directly, or make the man made landscape. In fact, this remark has profound implications. On one hand, the space design should satisfy the people's psychological and emotional requirements, in which people can feel relaxed, free, and without pressure so on. On the other hand, the commercial environment should be integrated with the natural and cultural environment. These cultural landscapes of cities can satisfy people's mental and cultural needs peculiar to the national and regional features of our country. Thus, the landscape design which can satisfy people's psychological, emotional, and mental demands has the important affects, not only for the commercial environment, but also for the city construction, the protection and development of the national and regional features. If not think out these two levers of people's psychological requirements, the landscape design of commercial environment will lose the true values.Therefore, though the research of the people's psychological demands this paper shows that the design about commercial space should be integrated with the public space and that of the whole city. And then, we can refine the elements of landscape design and use it to the commercial environment design. This article attempts to sum up the main ideas, and tries to apply it to my own design practices.
