Purpose: To explore the differenecs in risk faetors of cardiovascular disease and clinical manifestation of coronary lesions between young(<45)and elderly(≥65)cases with coronary heart disease(CHD).Material and method:77 patients with CHD were divided into young group(<45 yrs)and elderly,group(≥65 yrs)accord in to age. Observes its coronary disease hazard factor and so on sex, smoking, hypertension, diabetes, blood fats , positive family history differences, compared with two group of coronary artery pathological change difference. Results:Two groups of patients are male-dominated.The younger group had higher rate of smoking, history of cardiovascular desease (60.0%:38.3%,P<0.001or40.0%:19.2%,P<0.05);But had lower rate of hypertension compared with the older group(40.0%:65.7%,P<0.01).The younger group had higher levels oftriglyecride (TG)(2.26±1.03 mmol/L:1.67±1.08 mmol/L,P<0.05);there were not different in TC,LDL-C,HDL-C between the two groups. The younger group had higher morbidity of acute myocardial infarction(66.7%: 19.1%,P<0.001);lower morbidity of stable angina than the older group(6.7%:53.2% P<0.05).Conclusion:Smoking,family history of cardiovascular desease among young people the most important risk factors.High level of triglyecride1 is one of the important risk factors, therefore, training of young good living habits, smoking cessation, treatment and control of high blood lipids on coronary heart disease has important significance to prevent youth.
