With the rapid growth of functional magnetic resonance imaging, the using of fMRI in cognitive neuroscience research is gradually increased in many kinds of fields, which also could be successfully applied to the brain functional connectivity and effective connectivity study. This research project will enable us to investigate the human brain system on the dynamic model, and it has become the hot spots in the field of neuroscience research in many countries. Although recent studies on fMRI have been just researched about some simple positioning of brain function, which much less is known about the dynamic functional study in various cortical regions. The author discussed the ways to effectively find out relevant functional information from data of brain to regions of interests in fMRI, which is an extremely significant implication to explore the brain functional activities. This is also the main purpose of this thesis. This paper is mainly given an account that using two functional connectivity research methods on simple figures study.1 It is investigated functional connectivity of human simple figures study in FMRI by Dynamic causal model(DCM)). The brain activation was tested by SPM based on Generalized Linear Model. We have designed two dynamic causal models to determine the better one. Base on relevant connection coefficient, a better model was determined by Bayesian analysis .2 It is investigated functional connectivity of human simple figures study in FMRI by Granger causality mapping(GCM). At first, it can be found some effective connectivity through using GCM to explore four regions of interests. And then, it can be calculate the effective connectivity between the areas and all the whole brain through the same way to take on region of interest as seed region. Additionally, it can prove the exist of functional connectivity.
