Zhang And Emotions Theory Study

Emotion theory is being paid more attention during the past years, Emotion theory of TCM has also been greatly developed in recent years.However,the work is not deeply developed enough.Zhang zihe , who was one of the four eminent physicians in the Jin and Yuan dynasties, had a definite contribution in this work.He had greatly benefited the TCM Emotion theory and had Played a great role in the understanding and treatment of psyehologieal disorders. His major works, Rumen Shiqin was systematized and analyzed in this article, Based on the systematically studying and on the inquiring ,we want to disscuss the formation and development of Zhang zihe's emotion thoughts.This study suggests that the emotions theory of Zhang zihe was guided by the basic theories of TCM, based on his long practice, reviewed the formation of innovation. He insisted that Qi and blood are the material basics of emotions,and the heart controls the seven emotions. In the treatment of emotional illness, regulating Qi flow and reducing heart- fire were his mainly methods, he summarized complex emotions factors for the physical and psychological factors, social factors, natural factors. He also developed the theory of Inner Ganon of Huangdi that anger hurts liver and spleen, gladness hurts heart and lung, dole hurts lung and, horror hurts kidney and heart, thought hurts spleen and kidney.There were many theories on emotion of Chinese medicine that put forward by Zhang zihe,He discussed it particular in detail. He expanded emotions of the pathogenic to 53 in his works. It enriched the Chinese etiology, pathogenesis and treatment greatly. For the treatment of emotional illness, he was not only a good inheritor,but also a good inventor, used and interpreted the theory of"calming what is frightened"creatively, using mutual conquer theory of emotions but not stickling the Five-Elements theory,he can use it skillfully on changing emotions therapy,placebo therapy,suggestion therapy,and so on. His methods of treating emotional illness was unique and wonderful, it could reflect his level of emotional thoughts comprehensively.The emotion theory of Zhang zihe was not only inherited from his predecessors, but also beyond the previous, had been affirmed by the later physicians fully, and had a significant impact on the later emotions theory of TCM,his medical records on emotions are very classic.His thoughts on emotions theory is valuable on medicine research and clinical practice,it is very important to reveal the connotation of emotional theory.
