| Alzheimer's disease, also known as senile dementia, first described by a German called Alois Alzheimer. It is a degenerative nervous system diseases with age-related.Its pathology characterized by neuritic plaques, neurofibrillary tangles and neuronal death. The main clinical manifestations include memory impairment, cognitive impairment, personality changes, seriously affecting the lives and social skills of patients. With the gradual deepening of global aging, Alzheimer's disease has become a serious public health problem . The high medical cost is a global challenge and burden. But its mechanism is still not very clear. The current clinical treatment is ineffective and with poor prognosis. Therefore , we need to delve into the medical profession, finding an early and effective treatment. Instructor Professor Yan Ye based on overall concept of Traditional Chinese Medicine and learned from modern medicine , discussing Alzheimer's disease in every aspects with Traditional Chinese Medicine , in order to find the common law and common pathological link for the application of theory to guide medicine therapy of Alzheimer's disease and research ideas.
