Purpose: Study the efficacy of Lu Jin collagen in osteoporosis.Method: Establish two kinds of classical model to determine the effect of Lu Jin collagen on osteoporosis . 1. Osteoporosis of rats induced by ovariectomy 2. Osteoporosis of rats induced by retinonic acid.Adopt biochemical indexes related to diagnosis of osteoporosis as serum,ALP,E2,BGP,and relevant indicators of biomechanics of bone as trabecular number, average trabecular plate thickness, average trabecular separation, bone trabecula volume, average thickness of cortical bone, to determine the impact on osteoporosis.Result:The bone weight ,bone mineral density(BMD), biomechanical property, histological et al, of all the dosages of Lu Jin collagen increased significantly in the treatment group, showing that Lu Jin collagen can effectively prevent bone toughness drops, bone fragility, showed that Lu Jin collagen can estrogen-induced reduction of bone mineral loss changes in the structure of bone tissue microstructure, decrease in bone mineral density and bone mass,in the meanwhile, improve bone strength , reduce the incidence of fracture and enhance the ability to resist external shocks.Lu Jin collagen group and model contrast group,serum ALP has the trend to descend; Lu Jin collagen content of low-dose group,Ca in serum was significantly higher ;P in serum showed an increasing trend; The results indicated that Lu Jin collagen increased plasma Ca and P, inhibited bone absorption and ameliorated osteoporosis symptom. The results indicated that Lu Jin collagen enhanced bone formation, inhibited bone absorption and ameliorated osteoporosis symptom.These results suggested that , Lu Jin collagen had a certain therapeutic effect on ovariectomized rats. Conclusion:Lu Jin collagen may effectively control weight loss of rats bone causing by osteoporosis of retinoic acid induced and ovariectomized type of bone which osteoporosis of rats induced by retinonic acid or ovariectomized, promote bone formation and improve the negative balance of GNK. These results provided pharmacological evidences for curing osteoporosisa.
