Objective:①To show the Proportional of Legionella pneumonia in Community-acquired pneumonia in the elderly;②To understand the risk factors of legionella infection.Methods:①Sputum of 146 elder patients of Community-acquired pneumonia in Shanxi were collected②A enus-specific sequence of 16S ribosome gene of Legionella in sputums was amplified by polymerase chain reaction(PCR).③Risk factors of legionella infection were analyzed by case-control study.④All of the data was analyzed by the statistical packages SPSS 16.0.Results:①16 individuals'sputums were positive with PCR to amply 16S ribosome gene of Legionella, The positive rate of gene of Legionella was 11.06%.②Risk factors of legionella infection were analyzed by case-control Study.Compared cases with Experimental group and Control group, the no-conditional logistic regres-sion analysis included male (OR=5.210), smoking (OR=3.441), chronic lung disease (OR=5.954),Immunosuppressive therapy (OR=12.253), air and hor water system (OR=2.389),Construction (OR=0.664) were included in regression equation.Conclusions:①The protion of Legionella pneumonia in Community-acquired pneumonia in the elderly is 11.06%.②Risk factors of Legionella pneumonia were male, smoking, chronic lung disease,Immunosuppressive therapy, air and hot water system.
