1 [Objective]To explore the objective law in TCM about DM constructions and distributions.2 [Method]A number of literatures which were public home reported from Jan 1st 2000 to Mar 1st 2009 had been analyzed, and those groups of dates are compared by chi square test between north and south.3 [Result]There are 35articles included, south 24 and north 11, which are distributed in 19 provinces. There are 32 articles with clear case load, and the case load is 6427, north 3705 and south 2736. Deficiency of qi and yin(91.4%), fever due to deficiency of yin(77.1%) and deficiency of yin and yang(74.3%) is the first three terming according to syndrome differentiation in those 35 articles. Deficiency of qi and yin(29.0%), fever due to lung and stomach (13.4%) and deficiency of yin and yang (13.2%) is the first three terming according to syndrome differentiation in those 6427 patients. There is no differences in frequency between north and south. Except spittle and gore there is obvious differences in case loads between north and south, especially deficiency of qi and yin, fever due to lung and stomach, less of body fluid due to fever.4 [Conclusion]There are differences between north and south in terming according to syndrome differentiation of TCM. The statistical result has great significance to confirm the term of DM and to make a uniform diagnosis and treat criterion of single disease sort.
