Influenza A H1N1 was initially found in March 2009 in Mexico, and quickly spread worldwide. In the morning of May 11th, the mainland of China confirmed its first case of H1N1 influenza A patient, and since January 10th,2010, the mainland of China had 124,764 cases of influenza A H1N1, including 744 deaths. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinical practice in 2009 has proved that TCM has made an irreplaceable role in influenza treatment and prevention of H1N1 influenza A.With the beginning of the related records in ancient medical books, getting at the root of the matter trace to its source, we will discus etiology-pathogenesis and treatment principles by two aspects of "LI QI pathogenic Theory" and "Exogenous Pyrexia Theory", and to provide reference for prevention and treatment of H1N1 influenza A. The understanding of disease of TCM focused on macro, has always attached great importance to the "nature and humanity combination", external and internal unity, emphasize "Suit measures to differing conditions in terms of locality, time, and persons involved" organization. Due to the season, geography, living environment, the characteristics of different periods and different regional flu has different features in different times, areas, so the understanding of the traditional influenza is also different. The influenza A H1N1 pandemic in South America, in tropical and subtropical climate, especially as Mexico is near the equator, the climate is hot and there has been plenty of rain, combining with this season, considering that the properties of pathogenic Qi invade to the body is wind-heat pathogenic, and it can be mixed with wet pathogenic, and it has infectivity, so it's in accordant with TCM viewpoints on influenza, and can use the TCM theory to differentiate and prevent it.The article has summarized the characteristics and clinical treatment etc. of 326 light H1N1A influenza patients that Beijing Ditan Hospital treated from June,2009 to July,2009. Methods:according to the different drug cases, it was divided into TCM group, western medicine group, combine TCM and western medicine group and symptomatic group of four queue, through the comparison of the time viral nucleic acid turn negative, the time that symptoms and signs of relieved, to analyze the TCM healing efficacy on H1N1 influenza A, and preliminarily evaluate it. Results show that: the incidence of patients are young and young adults, the main signs are fever, headache, muscle pain, weakness, sore throat, cough, runny nose, and cough up phlegm, shivers, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, pain in the chest, etc, which fever (85.9%, with 70.9% of 38℃), cough (69.9%), pharynx pain (33.4%) for the three main symptoms. Comparison between the groups shows that, western medicine group is better in promoting the viral nucleic acid negative, and the combine TCM and western medicine group is better in improving symptoms. The average duration of tonsil enlargement in western medicine is significantly shorter than combine traditional Chinese and western medicine group; combine TCM and western medicine group (TCM and Ose Ltamiwir group) and TCM group are better than western medicine group (Ose Ltamiwir group) in the effects of the treatment such as cough, runny nose, headache, muscle aches, diarrhea, vomiting, wait for a symptom. Conclusion:as an acute self-healing disease, it's less significant on treating none severe pandemic risk factors of patients. From the Angle of treatment for a short-range, moderate, self-healing disease, we can choose pure Chinese medicine treatment.
