| PurposeTo probe the effective method of treating Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH), prove the validlity of BPH treated by acupuncturing at "Shenshu","Huiyin","Guanyuan",and "San-yinjiao" and to study the action mechanism of BPH furcher which could instruct clinic and optimize the scheme of select of points.Material and methodsWe made the animal model of BPH with cleaning male mice,by the method of injecting testosterone propionate in the abdomen.Fifty cleaning male mouse were divided randomly into blank control(group A,n=10),model group(group B,n=10), medicine group(group C,n=10),trational-acupuncture group(group D,n=10),and electro-accupture group(group E,n=10).Group C were treated by Baoliezhi at the same time of modeling.Group D and E were treated with trational-acupuncture and electroacupuncture at "Shenshu","Huiyin',"Guanyuan",and"San-yinjiao". Course of treatment:group C,D and E treated once at the same time of modeling,being treated 20 times insuccession;The animals used as experiment of every the above-mentioned groups put to death at 9:00 a.m on day 21 after the end treatment.Observe the changes of weight and exponent of proststes of the mouses.The expression of b-FGF was detected by immunohistochemistry techniques.Results1 Compared with group B,prostatic weights and indexs decreased significantly in other groups(P＜0.05).2 Group B had obvious anomaly in pathomorphology,the other groups can restrain the hyperplasia of prostate.3 Compared with group B,the expression of b-FGF decreaded obviously in group C,group D and group E(P＜0.05). Conclusion1 It is an effective method of treating Benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)by acupuncturing at "Shenshu","Huiyin","Guanyuan" and "Sanyinjiao";2 Acupuncturing at "Shenshu","Huiyin","Guanyuan" and "San-yinjiao" can decrease the prostatic weights and indexs and restrain the pathological hyperplasia of prostate,the mechasism of which is through decreasing the expression of b-FGF in prostate of experimental mouse. |
