Study Of Cerebral Hemodynamics Testing And Analysis Methods

Cerebrovascular diseases are a serious threat to human health,which have close relationship with the abnormal changes in cerebral vascular dynamic indices(CVDI). Therefore,the accurate and no-invasive methods to detect CVDI have great significance in the earlier period diagnosis of cerebrovascular diseases,as well as in the physiological and pathological research of cerebral circulation.One algorithm to automatically detect the diameter of carotid artery in B-type ultrasonic images is also designed in this paper.This method is proved to be quick and efficient,and has been applied into the research and development of KF6000 cerebral circulation analyzer,instead of the old method using A-type ultrasonic detection.For several hemodynamic indices are used in clinic to reflect the function of cerebral circulation,the doctors always need to take all indices into consideration to explain their meanings.We get one index in this paper to reflect the comprehensive function of cerebral circulation trough a new method,which could provide a convenient way for doctors to understand the analysis report.According to the physiological characters of cerebral vascular circulation, hemodynamic hydraulic power indices(CHPI) are firstly applied in the research about the function of cerebral circulation in this study.Compared to the control group,in the patients group with right hemisphere stroke and the other patients group with diabetes, we find that the changes of CHPI correlate closely with the function of cerebral circulation,which potentially become useful supplement to those hemodynamic indices currently used clinically.Through the research on carotid hemodynamic and hydraulic power indices, before and after the parallel scalp acupuncture therapy in post-stroke patients,we find that 'CAI' Parallel Scalp Acupuncture can raise the velocity of blood,decrease the peripheral resistance,and decrease the ratio of oscillatory kinetic energy to total kinetic energy.
