Dust Mites In Patients With Allergic Rhinitis Family Environment Survey And Traditional Chinese Medicine And Specific Immunotherapy Combined Treatment Of Clinical Research

Objective:After investigated the relationship of the home environment and patients by house-dust mites allergen, to explored the role of spleen-Qi nourishing Chinese herbal combination the Specific Immunotherapy of allergic rhinitis by house-dust mites allergen and provide evidence for prophylaxis and treatment.Material and methods: Case -control study. Assessed 120 allergic rhinitis subjects by house-dust mites allergen and 100 allergic rhinitis control group to release questionnaire survey, and logistic regression analysis was used to evaluate the risk factors of allergic rhinitis. To compare the clinical effect between combination group and specific immunoththerapy treatment(SIT) group by symptom scores and skin test responsiveness and the change of serum value of specific IgE(SIgE),total IgE(TIgE).Results:Carpet (OR=7.76)and cloth sofa(OR=4.19)have significant relation with allergic rhinitis by house-dust mites. These were risk factor which is higher than that of control group (p<0.01).After one year the total effect of combination group was 83.9 percent, while the SIT group's was 78.7 percent, combination group by symptom scores was more significant. Comparing with the SIT group, the difference was significant (p<0.01). Two group of patients skin test responsiveness was non-significance difference before and after therapy. In spite of the change of SIgE,TIgE level in serum were not obvious difference, it has the declining trend compared before the treatment, combination group was more obvious. It has significant difference compared with the SIT group.469 local adverse reactions had occurred in total 4890 injections and no fatal systemic reaction occurred , combination group waslower than SITgroup. Conclusion: Carpet and cloth sofa are the main risk factors of allergic rhinitis by house dust mite. The clinical effect of combination group were significant superior to the SIT group, so spleen-Qi nourishing Chinese herbal combination SIT could significantly promote the clinical effect on the treatment of allergic rhinitis by house dust mite with SIT. It is an effective security and less adverse reaction treatment in patients suffering from allergic rhinitis due to house-dust mites.
