Wenbing Tiaobian was written by WuJutong, the doctor of epidemic febrile diseases in Qing Dynasty. It is one of the important classics of epidemic febrile diseases. This book involved the exquisite theory of epidemic febrile diseases therapy for many generations. Especially, it used many classical decoctions of ZhangZhongjing to treat epidemic febrile diseases. WuJutong made much improvement in the basis of ZhangZhongjing's decoctions. WuJutong created crucial rule for syndrome differentiation of SanJiao, which supposed the theory of SanJiao therapy in the basis of SanJiao symptomatologic feature. There are some kinds of decoctions in Wenbing Tiaobian, which are come from Shanghan Zabing Lun, such as without any changes of the decoctions, or made a little change to form new decoctions. WuJutong used them in his special syndrome differentiation of SanJiao system. It is continued the treatment of many classical decoctions in Shanghan Zabing Lun, and also created a series of decoctions, which had therapy characteristic of epidemic febrile diseases. Moreover, it made a large contribution to traditional Chinese medicine. To explore the decoctions in Wenbing Tiaobian, which are come from Shanghan Zabing Lun, will do favor for clinical medicine.
