Rheumatoid Arthritis Tongue Like Research

Tongue diagnosis is one of core elements of differentiation standards of Chinese medicine , through which patient' s types and pathogenesis can be judged , so it is clear that the Deficiency-Excess of Qi and Blood,Deficiency-Excess of pattern,Cold and Heat of disease,location of the evil,development of disease's nature can be objectively reflected from tongue manifestation. In recent years, rheumatism immunity disease keeps an upward tendency in the rate of incidence according to some studies data . Some studies indicate that tongue diagnosis is very significant for the differentiation and type-dividing of rheumatic disease,formular-choosing,clinic result-judging , However , nowadays , great attention is put to the visual observation and discussion of partial pathological changes in the study of tongue manifestation , so it is easy to be affected by subjective factors, and it also lacks quantitative assessment . In order to get specific and objective quantification target for the judgment of conditions of rheumatism arthritis , unified observation method for tongue diagnosis was designed in this research based on the Chinese medicine tongue diagnosis expert system , for example , to select the lighting environment, to regulate the body posture and tongue gesture , to photograph the patients' tongue by the angle of approximately 10°, off 40 cm , with Japanese SONY numerical code camera compulsion flash , then the serial number input into computer, after the tongue manifestation cutting-process , to measure the value of tongue body and tongue coating RGB of typical tongue region with the computer color image processing technology , at the same time , input the corresponding clinical material, store them by the database, finally, analyse database materials in the SPSS system .Conclusions: The RGB value characteristic of tongue color and tongue coating and the relationship of tongue manifestation with pattern of rheumatism arthritis , tongue manifestation with joint function, tongue manifestation with illness progress was decided initially, by studying tongue manifestation,tongue body,tongue shape and tongue vessel of 326 rheumatism arthritis patients, according to the case-selecting standard .The good references for rheumatism arthritis's differentiation of Chinese medicine and treatment was gotten in this study .
