Purpose:On the basis of primary clinical observation,to observe whether the prepared Chinese Medicine of FuGuang pellet can protect optic nerve through the research of expression of apoptosis-related genes(Bcl-2,Bax) in the rabbit after crushing the optic nerve with microforceps.Methods:By the method of crushing rabbit optic nerve,we can set up the model to Traumatic Optic Neuropathy.By determine the expression of apoptosis-related genes(Bcl-2,Bax)in the rabbit optic nerve,we can observe the influence of the FuGuang pellet to injured optic nerve.Results:After the rabbit optic nerve is crushed,there are significant differences in the expression of apoptosis-related genes(Bcl-2,Bax) between model group and the group of the FuGuang pellet(p<0.05).There are no significant differences between the group of high dosage group and low dosage group of the FuGuang pellet.Conclusion:The FuGuang pellet also can decrease damage of the optic nerve by increasing bcl-2 gene expression and restrain bax gene expression in this experiment that FuGuang pellet is used in high dosage group and low dosage group.
