The The Moxibustion Feishu "gaohuangshu Yu Pulmonary Fibrosis In Rats Tumor Necrosis Factor-�� (tnf-alpha)

【Object】:To investigate the therapeutic effects of moxibustion treatment on "FEISHU(BL13)" "GAOHUANGSHU(BL43)" through the tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α) in bleomycinA₅(BLMA₅)-induced pulmonary fibrosis in rats.To analyse the reason of development of pulmonary fibrosis from possible molecule mechanism.【Method】:SD(Spragne—Dawley) rats were randomly divided into 4 groups:a control group(10 rats),a model group(14 rats),a moxibustion therapy group(12 rats) and a prednisone therapy group(14 rats).Except control group,every other group been injected with bleomycinA₅ (BLMA₅) via intratracheal to induce the experiment pulmonary fibrosis rat model.Start the seperate treatment for each group after 7 days that IPF model been successfully made,and once a day,10 days as one period,just 1 day off during every period.After 3 periods,ELISA(Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) was applied to measure the Tumor Necrosis Factor—alpha(TNF-α) quantity in the rats lung tissues,and compare the pulmonary coefficients with each other.【Results】:The pulmonary coefficients in the moxibustion therapy group and the prednisone therapy group significantly reduced,P＜0.01.The quantity of TNF-αin lung tissues of each group:control group(0.5±0.08) ug/ml,model group(26.18±0.63)ug/ml,moxibustion treatment group (16.18±1.25)ug/ml,prednisone group(14.18±1.08)ug/ml.The moxibustion group and prednisone group compare to model group,the content of TNF significantly reduced,p＜0.01;Moxibustion group compares to prednisone group,p＞0.05. 【Conclusion】:Moxibustion on the acupoints "FEISHU(BL13)" "GAOHUANGSHU(BL 43)" is effective for the prevention and the treatment for the development of pulmonary fibrosis model on rats.And the effection is almost same with the treatment of prednisone.The mechanism is probably involved the function of reduction of the quantity of TNF-α.
