Antler And Antler Main Traditional Efficacy Mechanism Of Action Studies

AIM: To study the main traditional effect function mechanism of pilose antler and antler glue.METHODS: Research the traditional mechanism of pilose antler and antler glue from the impact of them on ovariectomized rats of osteoporosis and anti-aging effects on the old rats.RESULTS: Pilose antler and antler gum can significantly improve the BMD, bone mineral content of the ovariectomized rats, reduce BGP and ALP content, and remarkably increase the width of trabecula bone and bone trabecula area percentage; Pilose antler and antler glue can improve the activity of SOD of blood, the activity GSR of Blood, the CP of blood. And remarkably decrease the activity of MAO of liver, the contents of MDA and LPF of liver.CONCLUSION: Pilose antler and antler gum prevent osteoprosis by improving bone mineral content and stimulating bone formation, and have good ant-aging effects on the aged rats by improving antioxidation and removing free radicals.
