It was reported that, there are still many effective compositions besides the lumbrokinase in the body of earthworm. In order to make use of earthworm synthetically , some research about the by-product in producing lumbrokinase (BLK) has been done.The thesis includes three parts in the main. (l)The analysis of the ingredients of BLK. (2) The study of the effects of BLK. (3) The research about acute toxicity of BLK.At first, according to the method of pharmacopoeia, the content of several ingredients of BLK have been determinated, such as polypeptide, polysaccharide, hypoxanthine, inorganic metal ions, nitrogen, and phosphorus.Secondly, the study of effects of BLK includes the following aspects:a The preliminary determination about the fibrinolytic activity of BLK in vitro.The fibrinolytic activity of BLK was determinated with the fibrin plate method and the fibrin tube method. The result showed that it can activate plasminogen and dissolve fibrin in vitro.b The study of the effect on prevention of hyperlipidemiaThe effect on prevention of hyperlipidemia were observed by testing the lipid level in both serum and liver. The results showed that, BLK caused the content of triglyceride(TG), totalcholesterol(TC), malonyldialdehyde(MDA) and free fatty acid(FFA) lower and the content of superoxide dismutase much higher than model group in hyperlipidemia rats. Therefore, BLK has significant prevention effect on hyperlipidemia.c The preliminary research about the effect on immunity.To evaluate the effect on immunity, three experiments were done, which were carbon dissection experiment, delayed hypersensitivity experiment and T cell proliferation experiment. Compared with the immunological suppression group, BLK can enhance the phagocytosis ability and cause more intense response of delayed hypersensitivity in the medication administration group. But the proliferating rate of T cell was not increased significantly in vitro. Therefore, to some extent, BLK can adjust the immunological function.Lastly, the acute toxicity of BLK was evaluated. The results showed that there was no acute toxicity of BLK at the optimum dose (51.00g·kg-1).
