High Sensitivity C-reactive Protein And Diabetic Vascular Disease And Tcm Syndrome Research

Objective To study the relationship between macro-vascular complication of type2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM) and serum high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) leve ; to explore correlation between factors affecting the process of macro-vascular complication of T2DM and hs-CRP level.Methods sixty-six patients with T2DM were divided into two groups:A group of 30 patients without macro-vascular diseases;B group of 36 patients with macro-vascular diseases.meanwhile the B group was divided into two group by type of TCM(traditional Chinese medicine),one is blood stasis,the other is wetness-heat evil, record the basic information of patient:age,sex,weight,height and complication of DM,Their hs-CRP and TC,TG,LDL,HDL,SBP,Fins,Hba1c were measured.30 healthy subjects were served as a control group Statistic Method Using the software of SPSS 13.0.Results 1. serum hs-CRP level was significantly increased in T2DM group compared with control group(P<0.01):hs-CRP level in B group was significantly higher than that in A group(P<0.01). 2.serum TC,TG,LDL,HDL level were significantly increased in B group compared with control group(P<0.01);and the HDL level in group B was significantly decreased with control group(P<0.01). 3.comparing of other index between A and B group, the differences of the level of systolic blood pressure(SBP),the level of fasting serum insulin(Fins) and history were significant(P value less than0.01,0.01 and 0.01 respectively) 4.last, stepwise regress was applied to analyse which and how much degrees of the index affected to hs-CRP level among the DM patients,the result of analysis reports that the change of hs-CRP was affected by body mass index(BMI),tri-glycerinate(TG) and Fins positively, ranking was Fins>SBP>BMI>TG;comparing the hs-CRP of the group blood stasis and the group wetness-heat evilthrough T analysis test, the hs-CRP has significant difference( P值=0.018﹤0.05),and serum hs-CRP level was significantly increased in wetness-heat evil group compared with blood stasis group。Conclusion there are close relationships between The increasing hs-CRP and macro-vascular complication in T2DM,as hs-CRP was sensitive index in acute inflammation,that hs-CRP level in B group was significantly higher than that in A group(P<0.01) indicate the heavier degree of inflammation play a great role in incident of macro-vascular complication in T2DM;also the history of disease,SBP,Fins,TC,TG among the three group have great differences,and four indexs have close relationship with hs-CRP,That signified hs-CRP may be a bridge between the T2DM with macro-vascular diseases and these dangerouse factors.So by measuring and controling hs-CRP,We clinical physicians can also take advantage of it to slower down the development of T2DM macro-vascular disease,and the hs-CRP provides a sensitive and positive point to classify the type of TCM on T2DM with macro-vascular diseases.
