Xuebijing / Methylprednisolone / 654-2 Ards Rats Heart, Lung Protection Mechanisms

Objective The aim of the study was to investigate the heart and lung protective mechanisms of the integrated traditional Chinese medicine Xuebijing injection(血必净注射液) pretreatment on oleic acid-induced acute respiratory syndrome(ARDS) in rats.Methods The ARDS model in rats with oleic acid-induced was treated the Xuebijing injection,anisodamine(ADM),methylprednisolone(MP),etal,to me- asure the factors at different fixed time points,such as the wet to dry weight ratio of lung(W/D),Guts analysis,cTnT,and the IL-1,TGF-β1,TNF-αin serum and lung.At the same time, we observed the pathologic structure of heart and lung under the optical microscope.Results The expression of inflammation factors in serum and lung with Xuebijing injection intervented,changed significantly as compared with those in ARDS-no-intervention grup(P<0.01).There were significant difference on the levers of cTnT between the Xuebijing injection grup and others grups(P<0.01). At the same time,we observed the better protective effections of lung in Xuebijing injection grups than the ADM and MP grups under the optical microscope ,especially during the 24h grups.Conclusion The Xuebijing injection can protective the lung and heart in the oleic acid- induced ARDS model in rats,the protective mechanisms maybe through inhabit the overflowing of inflammation factors and improving the pathologic structure in lung.
