Object:The thesis aims to discuss the expression and significance of Survivin and bFGF in human oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma cell line and to provide basis of early diagnosis and prognosis of oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma.Material and method:The expressions of Survivin and bFGF in human oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma cell line and normal major and minor salivary glands are measured by En Vision in immunohisto-chemistry. Cases are taken from the filed wax blocks in the pathological department of the First Hospital Of Shanxi Medical University, 30 of which are of oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma and 10 are normal. Each case is further confirmed by 2 oral pathological experts .Result:There is no expression of Survivin and bFGF in normal salivary glands. The percentages of the positive expression of Survivin and bFGF in human oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma cell line are 70.0% and 73.3% respectively, while there is expression Survivin and bFGF in normal salivary glands and human oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma cell, with significant difference (<0.01).Conclusion:The expression of Survivin and bFGF increaeses in human oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma cell line. The expression of Survivin and bFGF with the increase of the pathological TNM classification and clinical TNM classification increase, and the abnormal expression of Survivin and bFGF plays a big role in the development of human oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma cell line. Survivin and bFGF are good molecular markers to detect human oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma and can be used in the diagnosis and prognosis of oral salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma.
