Abstract/Summary:
Fagopyrum dibotrys (D.Don) Hara, is a medicinal plant from Fagopyrum genus, Polygonaceae. There are 15 species in Fagopyrum genus all over the world, and 8 species in our country. Among them more than 4 species can be used to treat diseases. Fagopyrum plants distribute in the high and cold mountain regions of northwest, northeast, southwest and north china, and the plants resources are very abundant.Modern pharmacologic researches found that Fagopyrum dibotrys (D.Don) Hara has biological activity on anti-tumor,anti-bacterial,antipyretic,analgesic,anti-inflammatory,anti-cough,clear away sputum,anti-platelet aggregation,rugulate blood lipids,lower blood sugar,antioxidant,anti-mutation,anti-aging and so on, and has obvious effect on cancer,diabetes,hyperlipidemia,rheumatoid,tracheitis,pneumonia,acute pharyngitis,throat swelling and pain,cough,suppurative skin infection,bacillaty dysentery,peptic ulcer and so on, and its clinical application is extensive. Fagopyrum dibotrys (D.Don) Hara is one of the medicinal plants used usually in our country, medicinal its rhizome, Chinese medicine practitioners believe that its flavor-Xin,shibuya, cool nature, and it can clear away heat,toxicity,pus,sputum and rheumatoid, and they have been used to cure various diseases.The main components coming from Fagopyrum plates are flavonoids,steroidal,terpene,organic acids,glycosides and so on, and the flavonoids are the main pharmacological active ingredient. The chemical researches of Fagopyrum plants discover that the Flavonoids in the plants of Fagopyrum show intensive physiologic activity of anti-tumor and oxidation, declining the blood-sugar and fat, resist rheumatism, etc. Cancer, diabetes, hyperlipoproteinemia and rheumatism have become the serious diseases damaging human health, but the Fagopyrum plants can treat these diseases well. So there is an extensive market foreground in the space of developing some new medicines to cure cancer, diabetes hyperlipoproteinemia and rheumatism from the medicinal plants of anti-tumor and declining the blood-sugar and fat and anti-rheumatism strongerly. With view to the Fagopyrum plates have high medical worth and good appilical prodpects, the researches on the Fagopyrum plates have caused attention from academic medicine at home and abroad. In this paper we summarizy the research survey of Fagopyrum plants from consititution, pharmacological action, clinical application and so on on the basis of the antecedent research. This thesis carries on the research on chemical compounds which enriched the chemical composition and pharmaco-activity research of Fagopyrum plants.With solvent and chromatographic methods to extract and isolate the effective composition, we get petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-Butanol. Then we adopt chromatographic methods and sephadexLH-20 to isolate chloroform site and ethyl acetate site, and get seven compounds from them and identify them as pratol (compound I ),luteolin- 7,4' - dimethyl ether (compound II),daucosterol (compound III),emodin (compound IV),rhamnetin (compound V),3,6,3' ,4' -tetrahydroxy-7-methoxyflavone (compound VI),β-sitosterol (compound VII )by the physical, chemical ways and UV,MS,1H-NMR,13C-NMR spectrum. The compound I,II,V,VI are isolated from Fagopyrum plants the first time.After the work has been done, the research enriches the chemical study content of Fagopyrum plants and provides scientific reference for developing Fagopyrum plants.
