| Objective:To estabilish rat ulcerative colitis model and observe abnormal MDA,SOD in colon constitution and the effect on immune function of rats. Observe the effect of Chinese herbs Chang-Ning(CN) on the model of experimental Ulcerative Colitis(UC) of rats and to probe the therapeutic mecha of Chinese herbs Chang-Ning(CN).Methods:SD rats weighing 190-210g were randomly divided into 4 groups. Group A,B,C and D.In animal experiment, the A, B, C were induced by 2, 4-Dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB) and distal colitis was induced by acetic acide nemas. And latter three groups were respectively received CN nema,SASP nema and saline , respectively for 4 weeks continuously. Group D:blank group.Twenty-four hours afterthe last day treatment, all of the rats were killed and the dots of ulceration and congestion in the whole colon were counted. The activity of SOD and the levels of MDA in the colon were measured.The serum level of IgG and SIgA were measured.Results:Chinese herbs Chang-Ning can decrease content of MDA in Colon constitution and improve the activity of SOD.CN can decrease the abnormal rise of IgG and SIgA in UC rats, promote the recovery rate of the ulcer. The efficacy of the rat sin group A was better than that of the group B and C(P＜0.05).Concolusions:The therapeutic effect of CN is similar to that of SASP.The effects of CN on the model of experimental ulcerative colitis of rats are more safe than that of SASP . To reduce free radical which involved in the pathological process of the disease can provid a new pahway for therapy ulcerative colitis. Chang-ning-tang should be studied further as an ideal drug for treating ulcerative colitis. |
