Objective: The therapetitic effects of XinKang Injection (XKI) on model inrats with the myocardial injury induced by adriamycin wassearched in theseexperiments. Methods: Through experiments on XKI by auricular swelling in mice,granuloma hyperplasia in rats, the time of electro-cardiograph disappearance, theliving time of mice under the normal pressure and hypoxia, the time of CHCI3 andBaCl2-induced arrhythmia in mice, mouse phagocyte's phagocytic percentage andphagocytic index. The anti-inflammatory effects, anti-arrhythmia and immune functionwere observed; Through experiments on XKI of the model of mice with myocardial injuryinduced by adriamycin, LVSP, LVEDP,±DP/DTmax, T value and HR were mensurated, whichwere observed its influence on cardiac function in rats with the myocardial injuryinduced by adriamycin. Results: XKI could inhibit auricular swelling and granulomahyperplasia; prolong obviously the living time of mice under the normal pressure andhypoxia; prolong obviously the time of electro-cardiograph disappearance of mice,enhance mouse phagocyte's phagocytic percentage and phagocyticindex, anti-arrhythmia; improve immune function; improve LVSP and +DP/DTmax, degrade-DP/DTmax and LVEDP of rats with the myocardial injury induced by adriamycin.Conclusion: The XKI is tohave favorable developmental prospect very much in theaspect of anti-myocardial injury traditional Chinese medicine.
