| Diabetic cardiomyopathy is a specific disease in absence of discernible coronary artery and characterized by long disease process, serious impairment and heart failure easily caused in late phase. The main manifestations are dysfunction of systole and diastole. The obvious pathological characteristics are hypertrophy and interstitial fibrosis. With the development of living standard, DC has become a more important factor against people's health.Tang-xin-an which is from professor Li-Lei has a positive effect on DC. Sixty patients with DC were selected and randomly divided into two groups. Group 1(administration group), treated with Tang-xin-an (n=30;), and group 2 (positive control group),treated with Yi-su pill(n=30) as control. After treatment with Tang-xin-an 4 weeks, the total effective rate was 86.67% compared with group2(73.3%). These results suggest that Tang-xin-an has a better effect than Yi-su pill on DC.( P<0.05)In conclusion, ZSP has good effects on DC. We believe that Tang-xin-an may have the potential for further development as an effective drug for DC and we speculate that it may be used either alone or in conjunction with another drug for DC. |
