Cervical myelopathy is a varied clinical syndromes resulting from spinal corddysfunction. Underlying causes are numerous, but spondylosis at one or more levels isthe most common etiology.The studyincludes two parts. The research advance of about Cervical myelopathy,the research kind of Cervical myelopathyand the clinical therapeuticsClinical research:Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the anterior and posterior operation onCervical spondylotic myelopathy. And to compare with the anterior operation or theposterior operation. Methods: 188 cases of Cervical myelopathy were treated andobserved from December 2003 to December 2006. They were randomly divided intothree groups: A group of 48 cases and B group of 60 cases and C group of 80 cases.The Agroup of 48 cases was treated with the anterior internal fixation orion self-lockingplate and cage grafting for decompression and the posterior operation through enlargingspinal canal on spinal cervical spondylosis were made in this literature and comparedwith the B,C group treated with the anterior internal fixation orion self-locking plate ndcage grafting for decompression or the posterior operation through enlarging spinal canalon spinal cervical spondylosis. According to the JOAevaluating standard Results: Theresults showed a total effective rate of 92.1% in A group in comparison with that of79.6% in B group and 85.3% C in group on the syndrome, P<0.05. To compare theresults between the three groups, there existed significant difference. Conclusion:Through the analysis of the results, the study proved the cause of Cervical myelopathy,its pathology. In conclusion, in dealing with Cervical myelopathy, the anterior internalfixation orion self-locking plate and cage grafting for decompression is highly effective,safe and convenient.
