In this regard, this study is going to proceed in two respects, the one is from pulse to disease and the second is from disease to pulse. The first respect highlights the relativity between abrupt pulse and related diseases, the second is engaged in the cause and effect as well as inherent relationship between abrupt pulse and related diseases.On the basis of researching into ancient and modern cultural heritages, demonstrating the relation between abrupt pulse and coronary heart disease associated with heart failure based on the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and modern western medicine. Then, to statistics and analyze the ratio of coronary heart disease patients with both heart failure and abrupt pulse based on the results of analyzing patients' files from archives of hospitals and taking pulse images from related patients.To a conclusion, insufficient qi and yang asthenia is also the important reason for formation of abrupt pulse, meanwhile, there is inherent relation between abrupt pulse and heart failure.
