Pearl Ointment Dressing The Treatment Of Hemorrhoids After Clinical Study Of 120 Cases

Objective:Change dressing with longzhu ointment and moist burn cream ointment was used in operation of hemorrhoids and anal fistula to contrast the clinic therapeutic effect on ampho raw surface.Materials and Methods:A retrospective review of 120 patients with hemorrhoids and fistula of raw surface accrete was conducted in the Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM ) in Hubei province from 2003.01 -2005.12. 120 pou were treated undergone operation of hemorrhoids or anal fistula by change dressing with longzhu ointment , and 80 pou were treated by change dressing with moist burn cream ointment by the same way with longzhu ointment.longzhu group consisted of 120 cases, of them male were 72 cases and female were 48 cases, with the age of patients from 19 to 76 years old. Among the total cases anal fistula were 29, anal fissure were 31, combined hemorrhoids were 43 and thrombosed external hemorrhoid were 17. The average age was 47 ± 8. 42. Moist burn cream ointment group consisted of 80 cases, of them male were 46 cases, and female were 34 cases, including of 21 anal fistula cases, 21 anal fissure cases, 29 combined hemorrhoids cases and 9 thrombosed external hemorrhoid cases, at the age of patients was 20-73 with the average age of 45 ± 7. 64. Two patients course of the disease was at 0.1-50 years.The patients involved did not suffered from anemia, liver and renal function disfunction, heart and cerebrovascular disease, diabetes and TB. The difference between the two groups on sex, age, the course of disease, entity, the style of operation were not significant ( P > 0.05).All cases of a particular disease used caudal anesthesia or local infiltration anesthesia. The combined hemorrhoids took Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy, low-set anal fistula took to cut open, superior position anal fistula took to cut open and hang line, anal fissure took the lateral partial divison of internal sphincterotomy, thrombosed external hemorrhoid took thrombus decollement. After operation sequentiluce began to change dressings.The process of the change dressing was below. First, take the warm water of PP flour or NS hip to bathe 20 minutes; second, the raw surface was clean by sterile saline, and third, take two kinds of ointment to paint on a proper size of germ free yarn stick and stick in raw surface once a day. Two groups of patients were all drop infused antibiotics into vena for 3 to 7 days after operation. The details of the raw surface of areas, depth and dropsy, pain degree and growth granulation were observed and analyzed..
