Objective: To study the peculiarity and rule of TCM in arthromyodynia treatmentMethod : Using the Microsoft Office-Excel software to compile statistics. This research include 503 arthromyodynia cases which are collected from the department of amynology in the affiliated hospital of Nanjing University of TCM. Studying the property and flavor, meridian distribution, pharmacologic action and analyzing of the commonly used Chinese crude drugs, in order to comprehend the rule of Medication. To compile statistics individual Medication of rheumatism such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, ostearthritis, uarthritis, and analyze peculiarity and rule of the individual Medication.Result: from the result of the statistics, we discovered that the property and flavor and meridian distribution of the Medication are distinctive in different disease, and the Medication is different even though in identical appearance. The medication effectiveness in different disease is distinctive. Generally , the primary treatment are eliminating beriberoid disease , alleviate arthralgia spasm pain drugs , assisted with promoting meridian and blood flow , using diuretic of hydragogue to alleviate water retention , reinforce liver and kidney and strengthen bones and muscles drugs. In rheumatoid arthritis (RA) , primary use promoting blood flow , promoting meridian , using diuretic of hydragogue to alleviate water retention and dissipate phlegm drugs , In ankylosing spondylitis(AS) , primary use strengthen bones and muscles and promoting meridian , assisted with reinforce liver and kidney and promoting blood flow drugs. In osteoarthritis, every treatment methods are emphasized.
