Name of student: HE Xiao-jing (Phmarcology); Name of director: LIU Yu-lanThe anti-ischemia effects of Borneol and its possible mechanisms were studied preliminarily in this paper.The results indicated that after injecting Borneol 2.0,1.0,0.5 mg?kg-1, the gasping time of mice after cutting heads were obviously prolonged and the survival time of hypoxic mice and mice caused by ligating bilateral common carotid artery were also prolonged after intravenous injection of Borneol (P<0.01 or P<0.05); Sleeping time of mice induced by KCN(2.0,1.0 mg ? kg-1) was shortened(P<0.01 or P<0.05); The survival time of mice subjected to MgCl2(0.5 mg ? kg-1) was increased (P<0.05) .Neurological deficits, brain index and the range of infarction in mice subjected to MCAO were obviously decreased after injection for Borneol 2.0, 1.0 mg ? kg-1 (P<0.01 or P<0.05); The infarct size of rats caused by MCAO was cut down and their pathology damages were amended after treated with Borneol 1.4 mg ? kg-1 (P<0.05) ; The behavioral disturbance was ameliorated and express of inflammatory cytokine such as ICAM-1, TNF-α and IL-1β were depressed, infiltration degree of neutrophils was diminished(P<0.01 or P<0.05). The stroke index was decreased significantly in mice subjected to ischemia -reperfusion (P<0.01 or P<0.05) ; The contents of MDA was cut down and activities of GSH-Px, SOD were increased in mice reduced by ligating two sides carotid artery for 6h (P<0.01 or P<0.05) ; The activities of LDH, ATP-ase were also increased in mice with ischemia-reperfusion (P<0.01 or P<0.05) ; Learning and memory ability of mice caused by ischemia-reperfusion was advanced after being treated with Borneol 2.0, 1.0 mg ? kg-1 (P<0.01 or P<0.05) .Whole blood clot of mice was cut down with Borneol iv 2.0 mg ? kg-1 (P<0.01 or P<0.05) ; Euglobulin lysis time of rats was shortened with Borneol iv 1.4, 0.7 mg ? kg-1 (P<0.05) ; Platelet aggregation caused by ADP and AA was inhibited in vitro with Borneol 40 ug (P<0.05 or P>0.05) .Swimming and crawling bar time of mice for weight loading was obviously...
