| Object: Study the influence of TGF-p contents and mRNA expression after moxibustioning and pricking blood on pulmonary fibrosis rats. Explore the inhibitive mechanism of the moxibustioning and pricking blood on pulmonary fibrosis rats from the view of TGF-p.Method: The 42 SD rats used in experiment were randomly allocated into four groups: control group; model group; moxibustioning and pricking blood therapy group and predrdsone group. Inject bleomycin (BLMA5) into SD rats to made pulmonary fibrosis model. After making models, we began to treat the moxibustioning and pricking blood therapy group at the 7th day. According to the original TCM treatment principle of "replenish Qi in order to smooth collaterals", we moxibustion at "Feishu", "Gaohuangshu" in two sides everyday, every points 15 minutes. At the same time, we choosed the "Shaoshang" and "Shangyang" (one side each time, turn around every other days), and fast insert the two points with the needle and pricking blood, one time ever other days, the course of treatment is 4 weeks. From the 7th day, the predrdsone group has predrdsone intragastric administration on 5 mg/kg everyday; the course of treatment is 4 weeks. When the therapy finished, we observed the lung pathology change of every groups with HE stain; compared TGF-p protein expression and mRNA expression of every groups' lung with immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization and image analysis.Results: The airsacculitis and pulmonary fibrosis degree of moxibustioning and pricking blood therapy group and predrdsone group was lessen apparently than model group. Most rats' pulmonary fibrosis is mild. TGF-p protein expression and mRNA expression of model group is stronger than control group's. Both of them have statistical significance(the former P<0.01, the latter P<0.05).
