Objective: In the direct of traditional Chinese acupuncture theory andmodern neurobiology theory, to study the effect and part endogenous opioid peptide center mechanism on anxiety mouse model from morphine treated by electro-acupuncture. To provid study direction of exposure the neurobiology mechanism of anti-anxiety effect after morphine withdraw by electro-acupuncture; to establish experiment foundation of anti-relapse after drug addiction withdraw by acupuncture. Methods: The mice were randomly individed into normal group, model groupand treatment group. The anxiety mice model was formed based on the principle of morphine increase progressively day by day, in which after the mice were induced into morphine dependence, naloxone was given. The model mice were treated with acupuncture on acupoint "Sanyinjiao"(SP6). The treatment was once daily and 15 minutes everytime, and it lasted for 3 days. The behaviour index and the contents of β-EP, c-fos in the mice' s brains and NO in the blood plasm were measured, respectively by the elevated plus-maze ( EPM ), radiation immunoassay and spectrophotometry. Results: 1. Comparing with normal group, the treatment group's open-arms time (0.36±0.62, OT%) and the open-arms entries (0.33±0.16, OE%) were closely similar after electro-acupuncture, the model group's OT% (0.22±0.13) and OE% (0 .20±.084) were obviously decreased, (P < 0.01) . 2. The contents of P-EP in the treatment group (349.81 ±47.71) was obviously increasly compared with model group (283.79±46.03), (P<0.05); 3. The OD number of c-fos in the treatment group (1.08±0.07) was obviously decreased compared with model group (1.25±0.09), (P < 0.01) ; 4. The contents of NO in the treatment group (25.83±8.06) was greatly decreased compared with model group (36.58±5.53), (P < 0.05 ) .
