In order to meet the need for modernization and standardization of Chinese medicines and improve the quality control level, the thesis is to building up a normative and comprehensive quality evaluation system. Under the guidance of basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, take advantage of the means, methods and technology of quality evaluation of modern pharmacology, take example for Lizhongtang prescribed granule. According to its active component and effect of medicine, to place emphasis on chemical analyze in vitro and biologic analyze in vivo, finally, provide a reference for future quality evaluation of prescribed granule.At first, the material quality standard of Lizhongtang prescribed granule was made, which concludes the standard of drying ginger, ginseng, bighead Atractylodes rhizome, honey stir-fried licorice root Next, the quality standard of Lizhongtang prescribed granule was made, which concludes name, ingredient, procedure, description, identification, content limit and so on. The research result indicates that the standard was controllable.According to the standard, stability test was fulfilled. The test result indicates that the quality of sample was steady during 12 month on the normal room temperature condition or during 3 month on the acceleratory condition that means 40℃ and relative humidity 75%.To study the Pharmacodynamics of Lizhongtang prescribed granule, we conducted the intestine peristalsis test on mouse's model of spleen weak oral by administration of Radix et Rhizoma Rhei, lax inhibiting test on mouse's model of lax by oral administration of Foliun Sennae, and gastric emptying test normal mouses. Results indicate that both prescribed granule and traditional decoction of Lizhongtang can effectively inhibit the intestine peristalsis, counterwork the cathartic role of Foliun Sennae, and decrease the velocity of gastric emptying. There is no notable difference on the first and second aspect between prescribed granule and traditional decoction, but on the third one, prescribed granule show more effective than traditional decoction with the same dosage. So the conclusion is that Lizhongtang prescribed granule keeps and improves partially the effect of Lizhongtang traditional decoction.To study the security of Lizhongtang prescribed granule, we conducted the acute oral toxicity test. The experiment shows that the maximum tolerance dose of prescribed granule is 160 times of man's day dose. So the Conclusion is that Lizhongtang prescribed granule is secure.
