Objective To observe the effects of kangxinping and its removed on monophasic action potential (MAP) in the rabbit heart. To study whether its antiarrhythmia or not , and the possibility of its mechanism.Methods Heart monophasic action potential recorded technique was adopted in the study .24 healthy rabbits were divided randonly as kang xinping , NS , Chaifang (B and Z ) . To observe the changes of MAP before their adminiation and after 30 mintues ,60 minitues ,90 minitues, 120 minitues of their admitiniation. The guidelines: the duration of MAP at 50%(MAPD50) and 90%(MAPD90) repolarization. Amplitude of (MAPA) , effective refective period (ERP), and the ratio of ERP/MAPD90. Result Chinese traditional medicine compound kangxinping shortened the rabbit heart MAPD90 from its (86.21 ± 10.10. 34) ms to (72.53 ± 6.03) ms (n=6, P<0. 05) ; reduced MAPA (23. 04 ±3.07) ms to (7. 73 ±1. 77)ms(n=6,P<0.05) and prolonged the ratio of ERP/MAPD90 from(0.8503 ± 0. 0014) to(0. 9824 ± 0. 0008) (n=6, P<0. 05) ;Which is independence of time . Otherway, its MAPD50 ,ERP and the groups of NS and Chaifang had no significantly change. Statistics paired samples T-test was adopted, and with its descriptives X±S.
