Objective:To observe the effect of laminoplasty by expanding vertebral canal through posterior approach for cervical spinal cord injury without fracture-dislocation. Methods:11 patients of cervical spinal cord injury without fracture-dislocation have laminoplasty by expanding vertebral canal through posterior approach. 9 cases in 2 weeks, 2 cases in 8 weeks . All the patients were followed-up 4 months to 2 years after operation. Result:9 cases in all patients had good effect ,but 2 cases had not. Conclusion: laminoplasty by expanding vertebral canal through posterior approach is a good method to cure cervical spinal cord injury without fracture-dislocation.
