Chinese forest frogs (Rana chensinensis) are important medical animals in China and the oviductus of female frogs are traditional Chinese medicine. At present, there were plenties of reports on the contents and functions of the Oviductus Ranae of Chinese forest frog, but little researhes on active substances in the skins of Chinese forest frog were done. There are many bioactive substances in skin of frogs, which have different special molecular structures and complicated biological functions. These bioactive molecules are important in clinical therapy. It will be a firm foundation of more effective exploitation and utilization of Chinese forest frog resource if some important bioactive molecules will be isolated and extracted from the skin of Chinese forest frogs, and richen the "North medicine" resources. The skins of Chinese forest frogs bought from the Fu Shun and Ben Xi mountain area of Liao Ning Province were chose as experimental material in this research. The optimal extracted conditions of active peptides and technical route were confirmed through conditional experiment of extracted system extracted temperature and extracted hours. The results of antimicrobial test suggested that the small bioactive peptides in skins of Chinese forest frogs had abilities against gram-positive and gram-negative bacterium. Its antimicrobial activities against Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aweus, Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus cereus and Streptococcus thetmophilus were much better than against Lactobacillus acidophilus and Streptococcus faecalis. MIC was 1.25mg/mL, which was lower than MIC of Lactobacillus acidophilus and Streptococcus faecalis, which were 10mg/mL and 5mg/mL respectively. In addition, antimicrobial activity of FIII fractions were much stronger than that of sorbic acid potassium salt and benzonic acid sodium salt, which are traditional food preservative substances. These indicates bioactive peptides in Chinese forest frog skins have great potential for the exploitation and utilization.S180 cells were inoculated hypodermically at the concentration of 1×106 cells per mouse and the bioactive peptides in Chinese forest frog skins were resolved into aseptically distilled water to make injection liquid. After injected continuously 15 days, the inhibition rate of tumor was calculated. The induction of tumor cell apoptosis of active peptides in Chinese forest frog skins could be detected by morphological...
