The article has 3 parts. The first part is parenteric fever. We began from the concept of parenteric fever and then study the origin and development, explored the origin and meaning of parenteric fever. And it had been compared and analyzed the different opinions in the Song, Jin, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasty. It had been discovered that 1, The 4 syndromes of parenteric fever almost the opinion of each doctors. But what's the 4 syndromes, there are two opinions: phlegm syndrome, syndrome of food retention,deficient dysphoria, loempe and spasm, dampness, Ye, cholera.2, the opinion of 5 syndromes of parenteric fever can be seen from Wu Qian and Zheng Yutan. They considered there are 5 syndromes of parenteric fever: retention of phlegm, disease with improper diet, loempe, deficient dysphoria, abscess of internal organs (acute appendicitis, carbuncle of stomach, carbuncle of lung). Gu Songyuan considered that they are retention of phlegm, disease with improper diet, loempe, deficient dysphoria and stagnant blood.3, Wu Kunan's Shanghan Zhizhang preferred that there are 11 syndromes which cured as typhoid fever. Wu Qian and Zheng Yutan considered there are 12 syndromes. These disorders were not typhoid fever, but their clinical manifestation similar to typhoid fever. Because of the etiopathogenesis not far away from that of typhoid fever, so the treatment is same to typhoid fever. That is the reason of naming it parenteric fever. 4, in the record of parenteric fever, there are many diseases like typhoid fever and being named as typhoid fever. These diseases recorded in different ancient books of different times. That has important significance in enriching the content of parenteric fever. 5, The diseases included by parenteric fever can be divided into two kinds based on the opinions of the doctors of past dynasties.①Parenteric fever means 4 syndromes which are phlegm syndrome, syndrome of food retention,deficient dysphoria, loempe.②Parenteric fever not only include the different diseases of typhoid fever in treatment but also include the 55 diseases same treatment to parenteric fever's symptoms.The second part is the parenteric fever in Shanghan Zabing Lun. Shanghan Zabing Lun is the real significant source of origin of parenteric fever. According the records of Guo Yong, there are two parts about the contents of parenteric fever. The articles of symptoms as typhoid fever and the discuss of cholera in Shanghan Lun . Studying of spasm, dampness and Ye in JinKui Yaolue. Except the symptoms as typhoid fever only provided the therapeutic principle, other diseases all provided detailed treating prescriptions and the discuss on prognosis.
