Shujinhuoluo Capsule has the functions of dispelling wind and dampness, and relieving pains from the body. This study aims at examining its principal function-related pharmic effect and its pharmacological actions, and to provide some pharmacological evidence for clinical application.In the study, we have investigate pharmacological effects and mechanism by means of advanced modern scientific research methods such as:radioimmunoassay, immunohistochemistry etc. the results showed as:1 .The anti-inflammatory test showed that Shujinhuoluo Capsules has significant preventing effect on dimethylbenzene-induced mouse ear swelling and deceasing effect on egg white-induced rat feet swelling; it has strong inhibition on carrageenan-induced rat feet swelling and obvious preventing effect on mouse granulation tissue formation, and it has significant antagonistic effect on acetic acid-induced mouse celiac permeability.2.The analgesic test proved that Shujinhuoluo Capsule has significant relieving effect on hot-plate-induced mouse pain response in different time period. Also, it has notable action on relieving acetic acid-induced mouse pain and significantly extend the delitescence.3.The immune test revealed that Shujinhuoluo Capsule has significant inhibition on 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (DNCB)-induced mouse ear DTH response, and it has preventing action on mouse thymus growth. Also, it has strong inhibition on mouse haemolytic antibody production.4.The rat adjuvant arthritis test showed that Shujinhuoluo Capsule has significant inhibition on AA rats' arthral swelling in different time period, it has obvious inhibiting effect on AA rat secondary arthral swelling and increasing effect on the weight of AA rat, which is rather significant in about 21 days. Also, it has strong inhibition on adrenal gland, while its effect on NO decreased as the dose changed. Finally, it has notable decreasing effect on synovial tissue PGE₂ and TNF-α. It increased fas protein and decreased bc1-2 protein in synovitis cells, and induced synovitis cells to apoptosis.
