Objective To study the level of plasma lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) inpatients with transient ischemia attack (TIA).Methods phospholipids was extracted from plasma of paitents with TIA byorganic solvent .Lysophosphatidic acid was isolated further,The qutntity of LPA was determined by assaging its phosphorous component .62 Patients with TIA were one group ,50 healting persors served as control. The level of plasma LPA was determined .Results LPA level of TIA were 9.58±2.1968ummol/L,significantly higher than that of control group 3.01 ± 1.0541ummol/L,P<0.0001. Conclusion As a molecular marker released by actived platelet in vivo , the laol of plasma lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) in patients with TIA were significantly highor than that in control group: plasma LPA may be valuable for predicting occurance and development of TIA and guiding the treatment.
