| Objective: To investigate the curative efficiency of integration of the therapy of strengthening vitals and eliminating turbidity (SVET) with medicine Chinese (TCM) and western medicine (WM) on renal anemia (RA). Methods: 62 patients with RA were randomly divided into control group (n=30) which was treated with WM and treated group (n=32) which was added with SVEF for eight weeks. The curative efficiency, which was assessed by the change of hemoglobin (Hb), hematocrit (Hct), clinical signs and symptoms, etc., was compared between two groups. Results: the overall effective rate (71. 88%) in treated group was significantly higher than that (33. 33%) in control group (P<0. 01). The main clinical signs and symptoms in treated group had been ameliorated with the rate more than 88. 64%, which were significantly higher than that in control group respectively (P<0. 01). The Hb, Hct, transferring saturation (Ts), serum ferritin (Sf) had been increased after the follow-up eight weeks in treated group, which were significantly higher than that in control group (P<0. 05). Conclusion: The curative efficiency of integration of SVET and WM is better than that of WM alone on RA. |
