This article is mainly to resolve the questions of teeth wear. Considering the similarity of teeth wear and cylindrical gear, a three-dimensional surface wear modeling of teeth was obtained by formulating some hypotheses on teeth mastication and modifying the two-dimensional model of cylindrical gear. By getting some discrete sample dots in the surface of teeth, the method of double-cube BEZIER function was put forward to simulate the wear surface of teeth. At the same time the function of wear teeth surface was obtained, and the wear quantity of any dot in teeth surface was computed. In the simulation part, we use the language of Visual C++ and the method of OpenGL to simulate the surface of teeth wear and programmed. As a whole, a flow chart about teeth wear was given. This article provides a method and a way for the study of dental wears. |
