Acquisition and processing of biomedical signals is the important evidence and the base of biomedical research. Whether the collecting, acquisition and processing of signals are correct or not will directly affect the accuracy of biomedical research. So they are of important significance. In this paper, the conception and characteristic of acquisition and processing of biomedical signals were introduced, then the author introduced such an idea that setting circuits of biomedical signal conditioning and data acquisition on two different boards, which resolved the problem-interference between signals of different quality (digital signals and analog signals) when two circuits were designed on one board and improved system's anti-interference ability greatly.According to characteristic of biomedical signals, the author researched and designed the data processing system of biomedical signals basing on AT89C51 microprocessor, in which an electro-stimulator was integrated so that the system can meet different experiment needs. Firstly, hardware electro-circuit design of acquisition and processing of biomedical signals including interface circuit design was expatiated. Secondly, the key design and operation principle of function module that is consisted of signals input circuit, programmable amplifier circuit, filter circuit and electrical source module were analyzed particularly. Then the ideas of software designing, the main program, interrupt service routine and other function programs were introduced systematically. Finally, detection and analysis were processed. In addition, noise and interference of system were analyzed and prevented correspondingly.
